On this tab sheet you can set default behaviour for resource kinds in this plan group.
Resource kind
Kind of resource.
Resource filtering method
This method determines what resources are shown on a plandate when selecting a certain plangroup in the planning screen. With plandate is meant the date that is selected in the top of the screen.
Default plangroup from Resource
Only those resources are shown which have the plangroup as their default plangroup. This setting is used for verhicles in distribution, which have to load at the same address (home address) every day.
Plangroup from ending Region
Linked to the regions which are filled in under Home regions.
When the last region where the resource decouples is in a home region, the resource is shown in the planning screen.
This setting is used for trips where the resource doesn't return at the home address. This can be useful for for instance export or import departements.
Show nothing
Never show these resources in the planning screen, not even when all plangroups are visible. This can be useful for paired combinations. In this way you can record settings, but disallow planning.
All resources
Always show all resources in the planning screen.
Last region
Linked to the regions which are filled in under Home regions.
When the last activity on the plandate is in a home region, this resource is shown.
This setting influences the behaviour of whether a resource is shows as 'planned' in the planning screen. There it is shown, with Yes (green) or No (red), if a resource is planned on the plandate or not.
With plandate is meant the date that is selected in the top of the screen.
There are 3 default settings in Transpas Enterprise:
Default | Planned is YES when the last activity on or before the plandate isn't decouple. So on the day when there is a decouple activity, planned is set to NO. |
Resource has to be at home address | Planned is YES when the last activity on or before the plandate isn't decouple AND the vehicle isn't on its home address. |
Resource is planned on date | Planned is set to YES, except on the last day of a trip. |
Resource group
Extra filter which is applied to selection made in the resource filter method.
By filling in a resourcegroup here, you indicate that the resources of this also must be shown.
Update resource till decouple activity
Default number of axles
Important for the calculation of Maut.
Show complete trip in route field
YES | Loading and unloading addresses are visible |
NO | Only unloading addresses are visible |
Allow create charter
When checked, trips in this plangroup kan also be outsourced to a charter through the action Plan charter.
Ask to copy charter
YES = When assigning a charter to a trip you can choose from a list of previously used charters.
Default costcarrier charter
Default costcarrier, this only applies to provisional charters.
Default costcenter charter
Default costcenter, this only applies to provisional charters.
Maximum # on trip combination
Applies to compartements and LHV's.
Take over last resources
This setting overrules the linked resources as set at the resource. This setting can also be overruled with the same setting on the level of the resource.
Do not auto decouple when linked resource
If Yes, this setting will also prevent the trailer from being removed from the trip if it is connected to the truck as a fixed trailer via linked resources.
No follow up in planning
This setting is also called FOLLOW. It is very important to have this setting OFF by default for new implementations. Following resources is something for advanced planners in Transpas, and can only be turned on if planners have this under control. It has major consequences for your planning if a trip is added afterwards. All subsequent trips of this resource are then moved forward.
If you turn following ON, you must turn time calculation OFF. And you only set 1 resource to FOLLOW, not the rest.
Test this first with 1 plangroup. Action 1217 can be used as a check.
Advice: Following = OFF, time calculation = ON
By default, this setting is set to No. If a resource is planned on a trip, and the resource has already been planned, a dialog will appear from which the user can select the source/origin location of this resource. This in turn determines the coupling location of the first activity on the trip.
If this setting is set to Yes, this dialog will not be displayed and the coupling location of the trip will only be filled in when an order is placed on this trip.
Ask to decouple on adding trip
If Yes, the user will be asked to disconnect this scheduled resource in the previous trip of this resource. If No, nothing will be done and the user will have to arrange this themselves.
Decouple selection + margin (days)
This gives Transpas more flexibility in choosing the order of the ride.
If this is empty, a margin of 1 day is maintained.
Set this a bit wider (for example 5 days) if trips are moved during the planning of a truck / trailer.
Check resource appointments
The resource's schedule is checked when planning. This does not work when using transport schedules.
Always start trip on home address and Always end trip on home address
Default = No
These settings control the location of the activities to be connected and disconnected. This overrides this setting in Companies|tab Planning.
Disallow decouple
Yes: Resource may not be disconnected.
Add to first combination when planned on trip
(probably the same as taking over the last resource)
Check couple time when planned on trip
If this is checked, users cannot add resources if the coupling time in the trip has not been filled in.
Here, the costs can be set per resource. These settings override the company settings that have been made for this. By specifying these costs, the trip costs are set for different resources on the trip after assigning that resource to the trip. Multiple combinations of settings are possible here. This can be deviated from per resource (for example in Vehicles).
Here you can specify or exclude the plan groups that you want to see with this plan group.
This is a supplement to the resource filter method.
When you fill in a resourcegroup and set exclude to yes, this resourcegroup won't be shown.
